If you select yes, then make sure you create another manual save as soon as the game begins in case you need to reload this save again later on. If you ever quit and reload a manual save, you will be asked if you want to use this save for the autosave. Sometimes the manual save icon cannot be selected, in these instances, interacting with a character, selecting 1 dialogue option, backing out straight away or even examining an item can cause the manual save icon to function again so remember this. You have 8 save slots so when manually saving, be sure to use every one before you cycle back and overwrite the first slot.
The key parts you need to manual save but I will point those out. The game does autosave but you can also manual save as well. A lot of the time though, I will just advise to exhaust all dialogue. Just to advise you, all dialog options within the guide will be shown with a bullet point and a > like this for example īe sure to select the dialog option I state in the order I state, that is the quickest way to finish the conversation and process to the next part or acquire the relevant item. Sometimes you have to move across the screen before the transition arrows appear but if you put the cursor on that part of the screen and keep clicking as your character is moving in that direction, as soon as the transition arrows appear, you will automatically click them and warp, just be careful on screens with various exits though as you may accidentally warp to a different screen. These will allow you to instantly warp to the next screen without having to wait for your character to walk across and thus saving a lot of time, especially for the speedrun. When it comes to skipping to the next screen, normally you would click on the far part of the appropriate path to move/transition to the next screen at which point your character will walk over but for most of the screen transitions, if you double click, 2 arrows will appear. You can even skip using an item but skip after you have begun using it, otherwise you may cancel the action of using it at all. Be sure you especially do this during the speedrun but try to learn which screens can be skipped to during your 1st Playthrough. You can skip all the cutscenes (almost), all dialogue and even skip to the next screen sometimes. Īnother version of the guide can be found here with a slightly different layout: LINK This is a Point & Click game so nothing else can really be said but if you find any typos/mistakes, then please let me know so I can clean the guide. It is a very easy game, the only problems come from the puzzles and 1 mini-game in Act 1 but with the information I have provided, these hopefully won't prove difficult for you. This will get you the Platinum anywhere between 2-4hrs depending how much time you take on your first playthrough. Welcome to my Broken Age Trophy Walkthrough.
